The majority of our cats and kittens go to local no-kill shelters to find their forever homes. We work closely with these facilities and they are an essential part of our rescue process. We cannot make promises for adoption availability for a specific cat since the shelters have their own procedures for the adoption process. We post updates on our social media pages when our adoptable cats have been accepted into a local shelter, so if you follow us you can be first in line to adopt your favorite CBCR alumni!
Most of our cats are transferred to the following facilities when they are adoption ready:
On occasion we may have adult cats or special needs cats available for private adoption. Please do not fill out an adoption application unless you are applying to adopt a cat that is pictured below.

We do not currently have any indoor cats available for private adoption.
We almost always have outdoor community cats that are in need of a safe relocation spot. If you have a personal or business residence where you can offer regular food, water and shelter to an outdoor cat or small colony of cats, please email our team at CoastalBendCats@gmail.com with the subject line “OUTDOOR CAT RELOCATION”
